BHOPAL: State Congress will go door-to-door collecting names and addresses of all Covid death patients in the state. This was revealed on Monday in a joint press conference by former ministers PC Sharma and Jitu Patwari who said the party in opposition will ensure that compensation benefits reach all families of the deceased patients.
Jitu Patwari argued that BJP MP Nandkumar Singh Chouhan along with three MLAs Congress’ Kalawati Bhuria and Brijendra Singh Rathore, and BJP’s Jugal Kishore Bagdi died of Covid-19, yet the government says they tested negative and died of other ailments.
NEW DELHI: Facebook, WhatsApp and Twitter could lose their status as an internet intermediary within two days if they do not comply with the government s new rules notified under the IT Act notified in February. The new rules come into effect on May 26.
The loss of intermediary status would mean every user post on these platforms would be considered as being published by the companies, making them criminally liable for any content deemed illegal. As a publisher, platforms will have to proactively censor content before they appear online like the China s internet. But platforms are continuing to negotiate and are seeking six months time to comply with the new rules.

Congress Chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said, Urgent need to affix Manipulative Media tags to the tweets of Union Ministers in the Modi Government for spreading false and malicious propaganda.
The Congress alleged that the forged Toolkit document is created by certain BJP leaders to gain undue and wrongful political advantage by spreading potentially dangerous, false and fabricated material through their Twitter handles, against the Indian National Congress and its leaders.
